EyeLink II Standard Display PC

Please consult with SR Research before purchasing a Display Computer.

All EyeLink II Display PCs must have at least one dedicated Ethernet10/100 MBPS port to connect to the EyeLink II Host computer. A second Ethernet card is required if the Display PC is being connected up to an external network. Please note this may effect the timing in time critical experiments

Monitor selection is dependant on planned experiment design. We suggest using a 19" or larger CRT monitor. For Gaze Contingent and Smooth Pursuit experiments, the monitor should support a refresh rate of at least 100Hz, but the higher the better . We have tested and are pleased with the 22" ViewSonic G220fB and the Iiyama VM Pro 513 22" CRT Monitor.

If the Scene Camera option is being used, the display computer
MUST have a 1394a fire wire port.

For experiments requiring 2 millisecond sound accuracy, use Creative Labs SoundBlaster Audigy 2 Sound Card.

Basic components for display computer are as follows:

Processor: Intel Pentium 4 Processor 2.8GHz or higher
Operating system: Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or XP Professional Service Pack 1
Memory: 1024MB DDR RAM
Hard Drive: 80GB IDE Hard Drive (7200rpm) or higher
Graphics card: 128 or 256MB Graphics card. ATI or NVIDEA cards are recommended.
The more video memory the better.
CD-RW: 24x CD-RW Drive

Please contact SR Research for more information on the lunchbox mobile computer configuration.

EyeLink II Display Laptop/Notebook

Please ask for assistance from SR Research before purchasing this item
as configuration may change without warning.

Basic components for display laptop are as follows:

Processor:

Intel® Pentium® M Processor 1.70Ghz

Operating System: Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or XP Professional Service Pack 1
Memory: 512MB 266MHz DDR RAM
Hard drive: 40GB or higher 7,200rpm Hard Drive

1394a: Free 1394a FireWire port if using the Scene Camera option
