Experiment Builder

The SR Research Experiment Builder (SREB) is a visual experiment creation tool for use by Psychologists and Neuroscientists. The SREB is designed to be easy to use while maintaining a high degree of flexibility. This unique design combination allows for a wide range of experimental paradigms to be created with little or no programming or scripting expertise. When used in combination with the SR Research EyeLink(r) eye tracking system, the SREB provides seamless integration into the EyeLink hardware and software platform.

Play Video - complete video frame/eye data synchronization through custom built video display engine. Supports .avi files that are compatible with VFW (video for windows) and XVID .avi files

Play Sound - msec accurate audio presentation using custom ASIO driver

EyeLink Calibration
- perform camera set-up
and EyeLink calibration


EyeLink EDF Message
- send a text message to the EyeLink EDF file; msec time stamped in-line
with eye data


EyeLink Command
- send a command
to the EyeLink system

Send TTL - set a register on the parallel port

- write data to a Display side log file

Invisible Boundary - trigger when the eye enters or leaves a specific region on the screen

Sample Velocity - wait until the eye exceeds a given velocity and acceleration threshold

TTL Input - wait for a specific input on a parallel
port register
